WOODWARD  ARCHITECTURE   |  Mammoth Lakes, CA

We firmly believe that it does not matter whether we are designing a home on the snow covered slopes of Mammoth Mountain or the sun drenched shores of Hawaii, the design must give the owner the true sense of belonging right where it is. Traditional or Contemporary in design, it doesn’t matter. When you come home from a long day skiing powder you need a warm sheltering environment that protects you from the cold. When you come home from a glorious day at the beach you need a place to stretch out, relax and take in the cooling fragrant tradewinds. Our job is to give those things to you; to make sure that your experience of living,  working, relaxing or just passing through one of our designs is just right.

It’s not how a building looks, it’s how a building makes you feel. Since we can only show you images of buildings on this website, please visit some of the projects listed on our “About Us” page and you will feel what we mean.

WOODWARD ARCHITECTURE was formed in 1987 in San Diego, CA by Bruce Woodward. The firm moved to Mammoth Lakes in late 1991. In the spring of 1994, Woodward Architecture took a hiatus when he accepted a full time position with Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (MMSA) as their staff Architect. In 2001, Bruce left Mammoth Mountain and re-established his firm in Mammoth Lakes.
